Excellent coffee & pastries! Top notch service. Comfortable atmosphere. I ordered a beautiful cake here years ago for my sister's baby shower & was very impressed, though I will say it was a little expensive. Well worth the money. Quality is definitely noticeable & much appreciated. Awesome cheesecake. If you have never been, you must try! Nice selection of goodies & beverages.
The cake was absolutely delicious and perfect! I ate a ton of it later that night and couldn't stop. Everyone loved it. Highly recommend
We used the Bean Counter Bakery for our GLUTEN FREE wedding cake! For the style, we wanted something classic and timeless, and they created exactly what we were hoping for. Alice was incredibly easy to work with and made the process simple for us. And then the best part - the cake was absolutely delicious. As someone with celiac disease, I wanted to be able to eat my own wedding cake, and the Bean Counter allowed me to do just that. When our guests saw me eating it, they couldn't believe it was GF, that's how good it was. I would highly recommend using them for a wedding cake! But I have also gone to the Bean Counter plenty for coffee and other GF treats, and it never disappoints.
Nice bakery and coffee store. A little bit expensive. Got an eclair and it cost me $8. My friend got a cookie and a late and it was $14.
Before the pandemic, I was a frequent visitor to the Bean Counter in Worcester, and it's wonderful to be able to get back there. If you like homemade pastries (and who doesn't?), this is the place for you. Fruit tarts, big cookies, muffins, cupcakes, and other delights, plus a variety of coffee drinks and smoothies. Eat in or take out. 2 locations, and definitely worth a visit!
The prices were quite reasonable, the cookies and cupcakes are quite delicious. My friend is gluten-free, and she was able to find quite a number of options for baked goods as well, which was great.

Bean counter bakery catered for our wedding on 1/14/22 and we couldn't have been happier. We ordered a 6" chocolate muse cake and a variety cupcakes consisting of carrot cupcakes, peanut butter chocolate cupcakes and cannoli cupcakes. Alice and her team were professional.The cupcakes were out of this world. We were pleased with their services.
I go to the spot a lot, and I generally enjoy it. When it gets very busy, it can get a little noisy. I like going earlier in the day when it’s quieter. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve had although their selection of herbal teas is a little slim. It’s a convenient spot to stop and talk with friends or coworkers.
The bean counter was so kind to donate two beautiful cakes to our residency wellness week! They are such a staple in our community and go above and beyond for the community they serve.
